About the Journal
The Journal of Primary Health Care (JPHC) publishes peer-reviewed original research and systematic reviews and papers on improving performance that are relevant to its primary health care audience.
The journal is positioned as relevant to Australasian and Pacific island countries and is a means both of moving research into practice and practice into research. It is published quarterly in March, June, September and December.
The JPHC is a Member of the Committee on Publication Ethics and subscribes to the principles and guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
Publishing Model: Open Access
The JPHC is widely read by Aotearoa New Zealand general practitioners, practice nurses, community pharmacists and other primary health care practitioners and academics and has an increasing international readership.
The JPHC is published by CSIRO Publishing on behalf of The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP).
