About the Editors-in-Chief
Felicity Goodyear-Smith is an academic general practitioner and holds the Goodfellow Postgraduate Chair in the Department of General Practice & Primary Health Care, University of Auckland. She founded the Journal of Primary Health Care in 2009 and obtained its Medline listing in 2010, continuing as Editor-in-Chief until 2015. She is passionate about primary health care research and loves writing. Her publications include more than 300 peer-reviewed articles, six books including How to do Primary Care Research and How to do Primary Care Educational Research, and 22 book chapters. She enjoys travel when possible and the outdoor pursuits of tramping, kayaking and swimming.

Tim Stokes is the Elaine Gurr Professor of General Practice in the Department of General Practice and Rural Health, Dunedin School of Medicine and Co-Director, Centre for Health Systems and Technology (CHeST), both at the University of Otago. He is also a part-time general practitioner at a high needs clinic in Dunedin. Tim trained in general practice and public health and has held previous academic posts at the Universities of Leicester and Birmingham as well as at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), UK. Tim has a wide range of research interests and collaborations spanning general practice and primary health care, rural health, and the wider health system.
