Fredrik Major holds a BSc in Naval Architecture and an MSc in Computer Science from NTNU in Trondheim 1976. He has previous experience as Vice President Business Development in Advanced Production and Loading 1995–2005; Technical Director in Ericsson AS 1994–95; Founder and Managing Director of Semafor Data, later Semafor AS 1983–94, merged into Ericsson AS in 1994; Independent Consultant 1979–1983; Research Engineer at NSFI, The Ship Research Institute of Norway (now Marintek) 1976–79.

Kaare Syvertsen holds an MSc in ship construction from the Norwegian Insitute of Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim (1973). He was previously Vice President Technology of Navis (1997–2001), Vice President Technology of Advanced Production Loading from 1994 to 1997, Project Manager of Marine Consulting Group from 1990 to 1994 and Ass. Professor in Marine Technology at the Norwegian Insitute of Technology (NTNU), Trondheim from 1976 to 1990.
