General Information
Public Health Research & Practice welcomes submissions with a strong focus on the connection between research, policy and practice. All papers are refereed. Acceptance of papers is the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors.
The journal will publish:
- Original research and reviews relevant to policy and practice
- Articles that improve methods of research relevant to policy and practice or the understanding of these methods
- Overviews of emerging or debated issues or concepts in public health policy and practice
- Examples of innovative programs or policies, new data or perspectives from the practice of public health
- Brief reports of research or data of special relevance in strengthening public health practice.
When preparing a paper for publication, please follow journal style and layout as closely as possible.
Submission of an article is taken to mean that the content has not been published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere.

The journal is indexed/abstracted in a wide variety of databases.
