About the Journal

Papua New Guinea Medical Journal is a peer-reviewed international journal that publishes articles relevant to the practice of medicine in Papua New Guinea and other countries in the South Pacific. The Journal publishes original research, reviews, case reports and other articles on all aspects of medicine and public health and encourages submissions of papers on new research from scientists, clinicians, and managers, especially those early in their career. The Journal is also interested in reports of projects that demonstrate better ways of delivery care and promoting prevention.

Publishing Model: Open Access

Papua New Guinea Medical Journal is published by CSIRO Publishing on behalf of the Medical Society of Papua New Guinea. Submissions of original papers and reviews on all aspects of medicine and public health are welcome. Priority will be given to articles and subjects relevant to Papua New Guinea and other countries in the South Pacific.
