A revision of Pachyplagioides Gross (Heteroptera : Schizopteridae)

Abstract

Pachyplagioides Gross is redefined and its highly elytrous female is described for the first time. Four new species (P. amblia, P. megale, P. monodus and P. prionote) are described. P. sp. 1 , which may be P. regina Gross, is noted along with P. sp. 2, which is known from a single female. An undescribed species, probably representing an allied and less apomorphic genus, is noted from a single female.
