Belinda joined APPEA on 18th July 2005 as its Chief Executive. She came to the industry from A3P, the Australian Plantation Products & Paper Industry Council, where she was the Chief Executive Officer for almost five years addressing issues such as resource security, energy policy, manufacturing industry policy, trade policy and climate change. Belinda spent 9 years with the Commonwealth Government including 6 years in senior and executive positions within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet responsible for a range of resource, primary industries and environment policy issues. Belinda has also worked in a variety of resource planning roles in State and local governments. She holds three degrees including a Master of Environmental Law from the Australian National University. |
