John Rodda has 30 years of energy industry experience in upstream and generation as well as risk management, commercial, marketing, acquisitions and strategic planning roles. John manages Origin’s portfolio of oil and gas assets in Australia. His career with Origin began in 1995 when he joined what was then Boral Energy, coming from Santos. Since then he has been instrumental in major initiatives including the growth of Origin’s Generation business and oversight of the $1.3bn Darling Downs Power Station and gas supply infrastructure. As Origin’s Chief Risk Officer, he was responsible for design and implementation of the company’s risk management framework and methodology, refreshing the corporate governance oversight, renewal of Origin’s HSE management system, internal audit activities and insurances. John has a BSc (chemical, meteorology and oceanography) and a graduate diploma (finance and investment). He is a fellow of the Securities Institute of Australia. Member: SPE. |
