Simon Bingham is the Development Manager, Studies and Opportunities with Apache Energy based in Perth. He is a chartered engineer with 30 years of experience in offshore engineering having started his career in the North Sea before immigrating to Perth 20 years ago. He joined Apache in the early 90s and has extensive experience in all aspects of offshore projects from concept, design, construction, and installation to operation. This includes management of subsea, pipelines, platforms, and FPSO projects and his international work has taken him to China, Poland and Egypt. Simon holds and honours degree in civil engineering and he is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia (FIEAust). Member: the Institute of Structural Engineers (MIStuctE) |
