Brian Johnson is a Director in PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory practice specialising in Energy & Utilities. He advises energy market clients on strategy & business development, market risk and its management and general corporate and financial advisory. Prior to his appointment at PwC he directed the energy advisory business of Caminus, a strategic adviser to European energy companies, in the UK. Brian also spent three years at Oakvale Capital in Sydney as a Divisional Director advising Asia-Pacific energy and resource companies on strategic risk management issues. Clients have included major energy sector companies, industrial users of energy, government agencies and energy futures exchanges worldwide. Brian has also been the director of Energy research at the New York Mercantile Exchange, an energy markets financial analyst for the US Department of Interior and the Boulder Exploration Group and started his career as a petroleum geologist in North America working with Amoco and Canadian Hunter. He holds a Masters degree in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines along with degrees in Petroleum Geology (BSc) and Business Finance (BA) University of Colorado. |
