Practical considerations in the use of systematic spacing designs.

Abstract

A design consisting of a grid formed by the inter-section of ever increasing circles, with the equally spaced radii from a common centre, is described. Methods for calculation of planting distances and radii, and a description of setting out in the field and management, are given.
