Suppression of tobacco yellow dwarf with systemic organophosphorus insecticides

Abstract
Results from field trials indicate that systemic organophosphorus insecticides reduce the incidence of tobacco yellow dwarf by about half. Yield of tobacco crops was reduced by 120 kg/ha for every 10 per cent TYD when infection occurred during the second month of growth.
