Abstract
The volumes of eleven structures in the brain of Macroderma gigas were calculated and compared with the volumes of the same structures in some insectivorous and carnivorous microchiropterans. On the basis of this brain morphology, Macroderma gigas is intermediate between insectivorous microchiropterans and the carnivorous species from South America.https://doi.org/10.1071/AM80012
