Chris Boron is the Petroleum Registrar for Mineral Resources Tasmania (15 years experience) Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources and is the longest continuous serving Petroleum Registrar in Australia. Chris is an inaugural member of the Australian Offshore Environmental Assessors’ Forum which regulates and reviews environment legislation pertaining to seismic surveys, exploration and development drilling and other activities in the marine environment. He is also an inaugural member of the International Offshore Petroleum Environment Regulators Forum. Clive Calver graduated with a BSc (Hons) in geology from the University of Tasmania in 1977, and with a PhD from Macquarie University in 1995. Since 1977 he has worked for Mineral Resources Tasmania and predecessor organisations, initially in geological mapping projects, and since 1998 also in petroleum data management and promotion. ccalver@mrt.tas.gov.au |
