Thomas Berly is the Government Accounts Manager for the Otway Geosequestration Project with the Cooperative Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Technologies (CO2CRC). This position entails liaising with Governments about the funding and regulatory issues of the project, managing the financial and planning aspects of the project and coordinating the research, operation, international collaboration and communication of the Otway project. Prior to working with CO2CRC, Thomas worked in the Science and Technology (S&T) section of the French Embassy in Australia, setting up collaborative program between Europe and Australia. Thomas has achieved a PhD in Geology in 2005.

Sandeep Sharma is currently managing the Otway Geosequestration Project for the Cooperative Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Technologies (CO2CRC). Sandeep has been on secondment to the CO2CRC from Schlumberger, an oilfield services company, since January 2005. Working with Schlumberger since 1981, Sandeep has held a wide variety of positions in operations management, marketing and new product development around the globe. Most recently he was General Manager for Schlumberger Wireline in Asia and Project Director for a full field re-development project based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has achieved a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management.

Peter Cook is the Chief Executive of the Co-operative Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Technologies (CO2CRC) which undertakes major research, development and demonstration activities into capture and geological storage. Dr Cook first became involved in geosequestration in 1991 through the pioneering work of the British Geological Survey on this topic. Dr Cook has written more than 130 publications on resource, energy, environmental and sustainability issues. He has had a distinguished career in Australia and internationally as a researcher, a senior executive and a consultant and has been recognised for his work for science and industry through several prestigious awards.
