Challenges of the Jansz deepwater tie-back

David Equid is seconded from ExxonMobil Development Company to the Gorgon Project team where he is the project manager responsible for the upstream section of the project. He joined ExxonMobil after gaining his engineering degree and during the subsequent 26 years has been involved in a range of upstream developments, both within Australia and overseas. The scope of these has included offshore platform design and construction, offshore installation, brownfield modifications and in recent years has been focussed on the management of sub-sea design and installations.
