Jenny Maher is the leader of the Seismic Acquisition and Processing Project of the Onshore Energy and Minerals Division at Geoscience Australia. She is coordinating the seismic acquisition surveys for the Onshore Energy Security Program. Jenny joined Geoscience Australia, known then as BMR, in 1985 after graduating from the University of Canberra. She has worked in many different areas within the organisation, including managing the Acreage Release and Petroleum Promotion Project, coordination petroleum databases and managing the digital seismic data collected under the Petroleum Submerged Land Act (PSLA).

Bruce Goleby is Chief Geophysicist in Geoscience Australia’s Petroleum and Marine Division. He is responsible for the innovation and specialist services group and provides strategic leadership within the division on geophysical acquisition, processing and management of 2D marine seismic, bathymetric and potential field data; along with laboratory support and information management. Previously, he was a senior seismologist in GA involved in seismic reflection surveys. His interests include integration of geophysical results to provide depth information and therefore knowledge on petroleum and mineral potential and crustal evolution. He obtained his PhD at RSES on the crustal structure of the Arunta Block using deep seismic reflection profiling techniques.
