Abstract

This paper addresses various legal issues associated with underground gas storage, including the potential for commercial underground gas storage, legislative developments in relation to underground gas storage, specific legal issues in relation to commercial underground gas storage, matters to address in a commercial underground gas storage agreement, and the potential application of third party access regimes to underground gas storage reservoirs and facilities.
