Abstract

The first week of the duck shooting season provided the highest rate (33 %) of band recoveries of mountain duck; the rate in subsequent weeks varied between 4.8 and 10.4%. More birds were recovered on Saturdays (48%) and Wednesdays (16.5%) than on other days of the week.
