A taxonomic revision of Carissa (Apocynaceae) in Australia

Abstract

A revision of Carissa R. Br. in Australia is presented with generic and specific descriptions, a species key, notes on typification with lectotypifications, distribution, habitat, local names and ethnobotanical use. Four species are recognised, C. lanceolata R. Br., C. ovata R. Br., C. laxiflora Benth. and C. scabra R. Br.
