Abstract
According to the Game Council NSW (2008, 2009a), recreational hunters can feel very proud of their contribution to conservation: every time hunters kill a fox they allegedly conserve 26 native birds a year, and killing one rabbit rids the environment of dozens of future rabbits.https://doi.org/10.1071/PC090235
