Survey of the Birds of a Lowland-forest Plot in the East Sepik District, Papua New Guinea

Abstract

A six-week survey of the birds on a 15-hectare plot of lowland primary forest in north-western Papua New Guinea was conducted m September-November 1974. A list of ninety-nine species with the habitat and relative abundance of each species represents the preliminary results of this investigation.
