Abstract
A description is given of a geometric method which presents information about changes in both relative and absolute concentrations of ions in natural waters with changes in a further variable, such as distance or time, on a single rectilinear diagram. This method of presenting hydrochemical data has proved useful in interpreting stream profiles and is illustrated with data obtained in a recent (1976) survey of the Capertee River (N.S.W.).
