Issue 6 (May 2020) of volume 71 of Marine and Freshwater Research was incorrectly paginated, with the start page number 571 instead of 725. This means that issues 5 and 6 have overlapping page ranges, an error that also affects the first paper in issue 7. Marine and Freshwater Research has cumulative, continuous pagination throughout the year, which means that just the volume (or year) and page number are sufficient for a minimal citation to any article (e.g. vol. 71, p. 571). When citing articles in the aforementioned issues, it is helpful to cite the issue number in addition to the volume and page range (e.g. vol. 71, issue 6, pp. 571–578) in order to explicitly identify an article. Please note that the articles’ unique Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are unaffected by this mistake. The DOI uniquely and permanently points to the article and should be used for accurate citation. The Publisher sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused by this error.
