Editorial Enquiries

Microbiology Australia is the official journal of The Australian Society for Microbiology. Issues are thematic and are especially relevant to the microbiology community of Australia, but usually have a much wider impact. Content is published on-line and is freely available. 

Suggestions for future issues are welcomed and can be discussed with the Editor-in-Chief or Editorial Board members. With their specialist knowledge, and with feedback from the Editorial Board, Guest Editors invite around 10 contributions for their issue. All articles undergo peer review and Microbiology Australia observes COPE guidelines.  

There are no options for unsolicited submissions, apart from Early Career Researchers who are members of The Australian Society for Microbiology.
