Abstract

A new species of peterjohnsiid milliped, Peterjohnsia titan, is described from Tasmania. Examination of the gonopods of this species and the three previously described from Queensland showed that the Family Peterjohnsiidae belongs to the Superfamily Heterochordeumatoidea, not Cleidogonoidea as originally supposed.
