Abstract

A new genus, Blepharocosta, is erected for the species Rhinocola marmorata Froggatt, formerly placed in Australopsylla, and six new species, B. subsolana, B. cloezianae, B, phaeotrichae, B. baxtericola, B. marginaticola and B. minima. The host plants of all seven species, except one (Eucalyptus cloeziana), are species of Eucalyptus that belong to the subgenus Monocalyptus.
