APPEA Chairman’s Address

Bruce Lake has been an APPEA Board Member since 2008.

He is past Chairman of APPEA’s Health and Safety Committee, Skills Education and Training Committee, and Awards and Decommissioning committees.

Bruce has more than 37 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry in Australia and New Zealand in engineering, operational and senior management roles, both onshore and offshore, for a broad range of operating companies, including majors and Australian independents. He has been Managing Director of Vermilion Oil & Gas Australia Pty Ltd since 2005.

Bruce has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Mechanical Engineering) degree.
