East coast gas – finding balance

Andrew joined Macquarie in 2015 and leads the Energy team. He draws on his previous industry experience of working with Wood Mackenzie for four years in valuing assets and projects, mergers and acquisitions, consulting for industry, as well as forecasting supply/demand and pricing. Prior to this, Andrew worked for Kinder Morgan in the United States and Canada for six years across the energy and infrastructure sectors. In Canada this work involved West Coast LNG, coal and crude export evaluation, pipeline development economics and acquisitions, Eastern Canada port acquisitions as well as oil sands related projects. In the US, Andrew worked on refinery economics, port and pipeline acquisitions, renewable energy impacts, and terminal expansions. Andrew has a Bachelor of Commerce of Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology (Neuroscience) from the University of Queensland.
