Abstract
Australia has a rich resource endowment but there are challenges to developing it, and stiff global competition. However, there are also opportunities, amid rising demand for sustainable energy. As federal parliament embarks on a new term, Woodside CEO Peter Coleman will discuss how Australia can make the most of its natural advantage. He will consider the roles of industry and government in securing the responsible development of resources that are ultimately owned by the Australian people and that can make a major contribution to meeting the world’s energy needs.
