Abstract
The acquisition and release of airborne magnetic and radiometric data and digital elevation data acquired over the Republic of Vanuatu during 1994 has significantly increased mineral exploration in that island nation. Vanuatu has a recognised potential for significant copper and gold deposits. The geophysical database will also provide a basis for long term studies of geology, groundwater resources, geohazards, geothermal and hydrocarbon potential and landuse capabilities.https://doi.org/10.1071/EG997209
