The geophysics of the Elura orebody ? data and comments

Abstract

This paper introduces the sequence of geophysical papers that make up the bulk of this volume. To provide a quick reference and a conspectus of the material a somewhat simplified summary of properties and techniques is given. Also, some miscellaneous field results (provided by EZ and not covered elsewhere) are presented, with little comment, for completeness of the data record. Some comments are made on the weathered zone, gossan and orebody magnetisation, for these are important subjects warranting further study.
