Abstract
A survey of geophysical exploration in Tasmania has revealed that few surveys have yielded optimum results. Most survey deficiencies can be correlated with minimal evaluations of terrain, climate or vegetation restrictions and lack of local geological knowledge. A complete listing of surveys, for which data or reports are in the public domain, shows that magnetic and refraction methods are most commonly employed.https://doi.org/10.1071/EG973227
