Abstract
Horns in Dorset Horn ewes have been shown to result from the action of the dominant gene P' which leads to horns in Merino ewes, or from a dominant gene closely linked with P'. If they result from P' itself, which is more likely, the Dorset Horn breed is homozygous for P'.https://doi.org/10.1071/AR9600845
