Synthesis of Casein-Related Peptides and Phosphopeptides. XI. Synthesis of Ac-Gly-Ser(P)-Gly-NHMe and Ac-Glu-Ser(P)-Leu-NHMe Through Phenyl Phosphate Protection

Abstract

The two O-phosphoseryl -containing peptides, Ac-Gly -Ser(P)-Gly-NHMe and Ac-Glu -Ser(P)- Leu-NHMe were prepared by the use of Boc-Ser(PO₃Ph₂)-OH in the Boc mode of peptide synthesis for the preparation of the protected Ser(PO₃Ph₂) peptides, followed by cleavage of the phenyl phosphate groups by platinum-mediated hydrogenolysis.
