Abstract
P.m.r. studies of the substituted 4-hydroxycyclopent-2-en-1-ones (1a-d) in acetone solution show the presence of two slowly interconverting species which correspond to free and hydrogen-bonded forms of these compounds. Double resonance experiments show the transfer of spin saturation between solute molecules in these different environments.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9752731
