Abstract
Anthocyanins have been investigated in 23 species from two sections of the genus Eucalyptus. A total of 17 compounds has been identified in the young leaves and in the bark of first-year twigs. A correlation is observed between the distribution of anthocyanins and the taxonomy of the species examined.
