Abstract
In this revision of the herbaceous genus Neptunia, the genus is considered to consist of 11 species. For the first time it is divided into two sections: section Neptunia, comprising species with flowers having 10 stamens, and section Pentanthera, in which the flowers have five stamens. Figures and distribution maps are provided for each species.
