Abstract
Effects of anaerobic conditions, uncouplers [2,4-dinitrophenol and carbonyl cyanide 3-chlorophenylhydrazone (OOOP)], inhibitors of oxidative phosphorylation (Dio-9 and oligomycin), and an ATP-trapping reagent (L-ethionine) on influx and net uptake of K+, Na+, and 01-from 0·5 mM KOI or NaOI solutions into aged beet parenchyma disks and on tissue ATP levels were determined.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9690573
