Abstract
Low cell concentrations of Thiobacillus X. grown with low aeration, failed to oxidize thiosulphate to completion in air, and tetra.thionate accumulated. The extent to which thiosulphate was oxidized was decreased in 100% oxygen and depended upon the substrate concentration.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9640738
