Abstract
The plasma lipids of young lambs have been separated by chromatography on silicic acid into cholesterol ester, triglyceride, free fatty acid, and phospholipid fractions. Alterations in the fraction weights and fa.tty acid components of these lipid fractions have been followed from birth to the stage of dietary independence. During this period, a number of changes were evident, and these results have been discussed in relation to the alterations in lipid metabolism with growth and rumen development.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9640183
