Abstract

Two fungicides, flutriafol and triadimefon, coated on superphosphate fertiliser and applied as an in-furrow treatment at 6 sites reduced the effects of take-all at all sites and also increased wheat yields at 3 sites by 12-44%. Each fungicide was applied at 3 rates (flutriafol at 125, 187 and 250 g ai/ha; triadimefon at 125, 250 and 500 g a.i./ha) but no rate effect was evident.
