Abstract
An automatic sand irrigation system suitable for investigating nutritional disorders in plants is described. The system in which a Series II D.C.L. Micropump is employed is capable of delivering nutrient solution (as a drip feed) at 500 mls an hour to each pot. A maximum of six different nutritional treatments can be established and each can be replicated six times. The system is relatively simple, quickly established and requires very little maintenance.https://doi.org/10.1071/EA9660331
