Abstract
A study was made of the bruising of apples in fvie types of export containers. The method of comparison was to evaluate fruit injury after each container had been subjected to a series of standard drops from fixed heights. Under the conditions of the trial the cell pack carton afforded most protection to the fruit. This carton was significantly better than the tray pack (whether in carton or case) which in turn war significantly better than the Australian dump case and the standard apple case.https://doi.org/10.1071/EA9630353
