The occurrence of the native rodent, Pseudomys gracilicaudatus (Gould, 1845) [Rodentia: Muridae], in New South Wales.

Abstract

Morphological and habitat data are given for four specimens of Pseudomys gracilicaudatus (Gould) caught at Bonny Hills and Brisbane Water National Park, New South Wales in 1971-1974. The generic identity, distribution and ecology of that species are discussed. The skulls of the holotype and an individual of P. gracilicaudatus from Brisbane Water National Park are illustrated.
