Abstract

Spotted-tailed quoll (Dasyurus maculatus) raise only one litter per year. They have a maximum of six young per litter, usually born in July or August and weaned after 120 to 150 days when they have a body mass of 300-600 g. A trapping survey indicated that occasionally reproduction is substantially later with weaning occuring in late February.
