Abstract
The principles of two new techniques of medical physics, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) imaging and topical magnetic resonance, are outlined. Progress in the development of these techniques and their application in clinical trials is reviewed. Advantages of NMR methods over existing imaging modalities are discussed. Finally some safety aspects are considered.https://doi.org/10.1071/PH820761
