Abstract
Following the decision, in the late 1990s, to sequence the genome of Streptomyces coelicolor A3(2), the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) of the UK committed substantial funding for a coordinated functional genomics programme aimed at building a detailed understanding of this model actinomycete species.https://doi.org/10.1071/MA04216
