A higher classification of the Australian Acridoidea (Orthoptera). III. Subfamily Acridinae

Abstract

The classification of the genera of Australian Acridoidea commonly referred to the subfamilies Acridinae and Oedipodinae was examined. The two groups are reduced to tribal rank within the Acridinae, where they intergrade. The wings of a male of each of the named genera are figured.
