Nymphidae (Insecta : Neuroptera) from New Guinea

Abstract

Six species of Nymphidae are recorded from New Guinea. Additional records of both described species (Myiodactylus nebulosus, Osymylops hirsutus) are given and four are new; three are Myiodactylus spp. and one represents a new genus, Umbranymphes. They are described, and the affinities of New Guinea Nymphidae are appraised.
